KTM Duke 200 BS4 Specifications
As an ownership review or as a person who is using the bike for a past two years i am extremely happy and satisfied by the way it is .
the engine and its gear box.as from my side are the best combination even when you compare it with a 250 or a 390.taking corners are more easy as compared to the 250 because i don’t have to down shifts and can carry the same grunt which gives you so much confidence .and also i love the fueling on this.i don’t know how KTM has got this so right .if you sit on this the throttle response is grate the fueling is perfect but the brakes for this power is not enough .
you basically have to use engine braking in panic situations or there are chances of rear wheel locks . and it is very comfortable when you are riding around the city.as i thinks despite of the new BS6 version.
the KTM Duke 200 BS4 versions still holds the hearts and still holds its place very well now also .i personally had a hell of a blast owing it for two years ans still counting more happily.

200 Duke Variants
The KTM 200 Duke BS6 is available in just one variant.
200 Duke Design
The KTM 200 Duke now looks sharper and identical to the 250 Duke. To tell them apart, KTM has given both motorcycles different liveries. Also, the 250 Duke has a side-slung exhaust while the 200 Duke continues to use an underbelly exhaust setup. The new KTM bike has the ‘Duke’ name across the fuel tank with the 200 logo in smaller font below it. It is available in two new colors: Electronic Orange and Ceramic White.
200 Duke Features
The 200 Duke continues to use a halogen headlamp but now gets LED DRLs. It also has an LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators. The fully digital instrument console has been carried over and includes the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, real-time mileage, average fuel consumption, and average speed. While the BS4 200 Duke had single-channel ABS, ktm has equipped the 200 Duke BS6 with dual-channel ABS.
KTM 200 Duke Competitors
The KTM 200 Duke competes with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200, and Hero Xtreme 200R. While not direct rivals, the Yamaha MT-15, Yamaha FZ 25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 serve as viable competitors as well.
CONCLUSION
As the the numbers of the paper list remains the same but its not in the case of reality.the BS6 Duke 200 is not much hardcore as before,it has lost the aggressiveness which was there before which make it difficult to handle for those who are upgrading from a scooter . but not in the same case of BS6 .its more like a matured version of it .which is slightly more linear and a small minute lack or lag in its power. as compare to the old BS4 Duke 200.now its more easy for your pillion. it is now more pillion friendly and there is more space to move around as compare to the older version . but if you ask me is its still a value for money then surely it is .it still holds it place with its competitors. and is the fastest bike in this segment.
